As the production sound team for Ghostlight (2024), we were responsible for capturing high quality dialogue and ambient audio across a variety of challenging environments, from intimate indoor scenes to bustling urban exteriors. Our role involved coordinating closely with the director, camera team, and actors to ensure clean, consistent audio while adapting to the fluid demands of indie filmmaking. We filmed throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs, including on location shoots in homes, rehearsal spaces, and active construction sites, each requiring unique sound solutions. We managed a full kit including wireless lavaliers, boom operation, and field mixers, ensuring seamless audio continuity that supported the film’s emotional depth and realism.
